Here's the other side: We anticipate that Phase I clinical trials will commence in late 2016 or early 2017 and we estimate that it will take 18 months to complete. Following successful completion of Phase I clinical trials, we expect to receive limited marketing approval for “compassionate-use” under the FDA and similar guidelines in Canada.- These trials are through McGill University’s Jewish General Hospital

Based on the timeline to receive the samples, they are having the drug made for trials.

The more I look into this, it doesn't look like a shell. It looks like a legitimate company. The question is can they produce what they say they can?
