Have to question what the 8th is all about myself...
Not sure how, or even if GC was able to keep the off shore accounts to keep from selling off until then, but one can be hopeful right? So far the PPS has been stabilizing in the low 60's high 50's for now, which is good.
as for the Toxic Converts, no one really knows how much money is left on those debts to convert into shares...if they have several hundred thousands left, it could hurt the SP pretty badly, if it is only a few thousand to a hundred thousand, it might not be that bad...See, they can convert as much debt at a time as they desire into discounted shares. Can take off $50K, $100K, or more and convert into shares...at a PPS of .60, they would get their shares at .48 then sell them at the .60 rate, all the way down to the .48 rate which gives them their initial investment back plus a small profit off of each convert they do...then when the SP hits .48, they can buy more at a discount of .36, and can sell all the way down to that SP. It is unscrupulous business practices that GC has bought into, but for now, it appears the sell off has stopped... Hopefully till well after the 8th.
As for the newest Off Shore Share Holders, it appears that they already cashed in their Debt into shares and now own 10% of the outstanding share count. So as others have said, they must see something in the writing that others do not, or maybe others see it as well, and that is why they are not selling.
GG has asked for the 8th to be pivotal, which can mean many things...Maybe the new JV/DX Spinoff can't be announced till after the first of the year? Maybe the Chinese deal can't be announced till after the first of the year? Maybe the ESS Trial can't start till after the first of the year? Maybe any kind of deals can't be made till after the first of the year due to Tax Laws taking affect in January? Any way you look at it, the following Monday, January 11th should be very exciting when the market opens...anyone know what time GC is presenting at the JP Morgan Conference that day?
