Clinton, Wolfowitz, Robertson (CVX) to visit Obasanjo

Will we get some more OBO results during July 17 -20 ?!

Clinton, World Bank President, 15 Heads of State for Nigeria Next Week

Former President of the United States of America, William Jefferson Clinton, President of the World Bank, Dr Paul Wolfowitz and 15 presidents and heads of government are among dignitaries who have confirmed their participation at the 7th Leon Sullivan Summit scheduled for Abuja from July 17 to 20.
Clinton is billed to attend the opening luncheon of the Summit and deliver a speech at the occasion, while Wolfowitz will address leaders of the corporate world who have also confirmed their participation.

Fifteen presidents and heads of government have also confirmed their acceptance of Obasanjo's invitation for the Summit, expected to bring investors and corporate leaders from across the world to explore business opportunities in Africa.
The presidents and heads of governments include President Wade of Senegal, President John Kuffour of Ghana, President Johnson Sirleaf of Liberia, President Patrick Manning of Trinidad and Tobago, President Paul Kagame of Rwanda, President Ely Ould Mohammed Vall of Mauritania, President Blaise Compaore of Burkina Fasso and President Boni Yayi of Benin Republic.
Others are President Fauer Gnassingbe of Togo, President Momadou Tanja of Niger and President Yahyah Jammeh of The Gambia.

Also confirmed are former Heads of State and Government P.J. Patterson of Jamaica, Karl Auguste Offman of Mauritius, and Nicephore Soglo of Benin Republic.

Among leaders of the corporate world who have confirmed their participation at the Summit are Peter Robertson, Vice Chairman of Chevron Corporation, Khaya Nggula of South Africa Airways, Rod Gillum, Vice President of General Motors, Bayo Ogunlesi, Executive Chairman, Credit Suisse, and Mr. Courtland Burton, President and CEO of EDS Middle East& Africa.

The Sullivan Summit was established by the late Rev. Leon H. Sullivan in 1991 to bridge the business gap between Africans and African Americans in the United States of America. The biennial Summit has been held across the African continent including Gabon, Coite d’ivoire, Ghana, Zimbabwe and Nigeria. Over the years, the summits have attracted over 8,000 participants and more than 50 heads of states and government.
The theme of this year’s Summit is Africa: Continent of Opportunities. It is billed to facilitate communication between participating investors, African governments and corporate leaders in strategic area representing oil and gas, energy, telecommunication and agricultural sectors.
