Obviously some do want instant gratification--perhaps Shkreli's silly purchase of the Wu Tan Clan album was due to that--but it seems the Experts feel both sociopaths and psychopaths are impulsive. It's just that psychopaths are better organized.

Was Bin Laden a psychopath? I don't think so. People have, after all, killed others for political power for millennia. But I never had the sense that he enjoyed the carnage he ordered, or took pleasure in manipulating people. It was a means to an end.

Hard to say how he interacted with his wives and children; they haven't really talked about it, far as I know.
