Billiam it is always hard to explain what market makers do. A lot is above board but they can do a lot of manipulating to make themselves money. In this case it just looks like basic market making. There job is to provide liquidity in the market. They can buy shares naked in order to sell/fill an order. That may be the case here and why the amounts are the same but I can't be sure. The slight differentiation is price is how they make there money. In this case not much. I think we will see a lot of "duplicate" transactions because shares are so scarce. MM's don't have a lot of shares to work with.
