The locals, most of them, have never left, many are in poverty, everything is over priced, and they (locals) could care less about a Medical Marijuana company. It wont' benefit them, they have no money. It'll benefit tourists, possibly, but they'd likely be better off getting it back home (most likely the continental US).
It is also a felony to cultivate marijuana, you'll go to prison. It may take years or decades for this to change, if ever. MedMar's product will never and can never leave the Virgin Islands. Worst place ever to start a marijuana business! Well, maybe America Samoa might be worse.
Washington DC is way different, man. Things will pass in DC just like they do in the states. Territories are way different than states or DC.
