Gran: Not disagreeing with your post except that large blocks would generally require large block sellers as well as buyers. I have had numerous 20k-100k orders filled with multiple smaller blocks over the years. The most common large block transactions on low volume days are when a company is diluting. The selling mm will short numerous small trades then you'll see a large block posted at a lower price (sometimes after hours) to cover the short position. I personally don't expect to see any larger blocks traded until we hit around at least a buck on volume, but the real blocks will come in at about 2.5 as we hit the target price of many of the longs for taking some off the table.
