What does the U.S. get by attacking ERHE? You could pull all U.S. companies out of Nigeria and the ones that replace them will still sell their oil to the highest bidder.

Are you suggesting that the DOJ/SEC are attacking 3 employee ERHE to enhance the revenue of Big Oil?

That's more of a stretch than ole Stretch Armstrong! (I just showed my age there!)

I'm not so naive to think that corruption is non-existant, but you are suggesting that Big Oil tapped the DOJ/SEC on the shoulder and said, "psst, can you take out that 3 person minnow for us?". Even if they did the DOJ would laugh and say, "squash it yourself".

Sao Tome requested an investigation and they are getting one. There's nothing any more sinister about it.
