That's a good point...the fact that millions of dollars are nothing to billion dollar companies, and that ENIP has strategic patents in place for this very reason. Not only that, but settlements often happen with these companies because they simply want to be done with the litigation (although that obviously depends on the lawyers and the company)....but reaching an agreement is what both parties ultimately want for a resolution, rather than dragging things out.
Not only settlements, but ROYALTIES....are a big part of this. Also the fact that these royalty agreements could potentially be in perpetuity...
Patent troll companies are loathed by many in the modern world, but the fact is a patent is a patent. And if you follow tech companies at all you know that there are companies out there that are almost worthless but their market cap is huge simply because of the valuable patents they have attained. It is what it is.
ENIP has a lot of potential here. Excited to see what new settlements they reach.
