The roll for UGAZ and other energy VelocityShares ETNs occurs during business days 5-9 of each calendar month; that would be this Friday thru next Thursday for December to January roll.
The so called VIX proxy ETPs (VXX, SVXY, UVXY, TVIX, XIV etc) roll ~5% each and every business day.

What charting do you use to see UGAZ/IV can't see it on stockcharts or power etrade
Yahoo lists indicative values in the format ^ETN-IV.
Several weeks ago, yahoo was not providing accurate info for ^ugaz-iv. This weekend it is:
