The company does have additional shares that "Can be issued over time". Just as any company does...they have additional authorized shares that they can issue should they need to. AMBS must be on the same track as other companies who are publicly owned?
Authorized shares are not affecting the PPS right now...And come January 11th, they may not matter so much anyway. Time will tell, bashing at this point does nothing but confuse people. Wait till after the JP Morgan conference then make your point.

By diluting more shares perhaps to raise cash? Yes as someone keeps mentioning there are only 15 million Outstanding shares but neglects that there are 150 million Authorized shares that can/will be issued over time as the company needs money.
