Absolutely confidential, but a patent-pending is only good for one year, then you file again. If someone doesn't file again, can you tell? Usually not. That way unless someone really wants to file a competitive patent-pending, and their very serious about it, most wont' go there, and you'll never know when the patent-pending date stops.

Just wanted to clear that up, don't know what else your discussing... so sorry if I stepped in.
