Comments about the DX Spinoff are intriguing, but still a little disparaging at the same time. I really do like the idea of having a separate money producing diagnostics division but at what costs? GC Mentions "Looking at other diagnostic companies that are already revenue producing and have complimentary technologies" So, is the idea to "Pair up" with another diagnostics company, or is it to again go at it alone? Maybe we could get an endorsement from the companies that are already using our diagnostics products and possibly move the SP by stating that the free handouts that AMBS provided are actually helping their trials succeed. Any way we look at it, I don't expect it to be announced at the JP Morgan Conference on January 11th.
Instead, the closest alligator to the boat is still ESS, which he stated will be entering trials with US Army during the first Quarter of 2016. With only a 24 month path to commercialization and over a 500 Million dollar market, makes more sense to announce start of trials at the US Army Burn Center in San Antonio, and a blessing from the FDA for a fast tracked approval pathway...This is the place where all the wounded warriors return once they have combat related wounds that require specialized burn treatments. With the mortality rate of those severely burned being so low, I wouldn't imagine it being a hard sell to get the FDA to support...along with many other Big Named Pharmaceutical companies!
Hopefully the announcements will be strong enough to keep the relentless death spiral financers at bay, and allow true share value to increase. How GC was able to convince them to hold off till January 8th, is impressive...just hope the conference on the 11th is truly earth shattering, or it may just get bloody here again.
Best of Luck to Everyone, and Happy Holidays!
