Ok I have always appreciated others posts from the Biotech Showcase and other venues CTIX has presented at. I am by far not the most knowledgeable poster here or even close, and with that said I will now post what I took away from the meeting. ALL IN MY OPINION and what I understood and my own personal inferences.
The meeting started with probably around 35 investors/shareholders, 12 employees all estimate numbers. More investors showed as the meeting progressed.
Cabel, KarinCA, Double J, Youssef in attendance with many admitted lurkers and readers of I-hub.
General Business of the proxy, and Leo reading aloud the Press Release from yesterday. Q & A began after the meeting business was handled and adjourned.
My statement and questions were as follows (we were limited to 3)
I doubt in this forum you are prepared to tell me what the comparator drug for the Brilacidin Phase 3 trial is, however could you tell me if Cellceutix or the FDA is driving the selection and when would we know?
Dr. Jorgenson (whom I am very impressed with) in summary said that Cellceutix would make a suggestion to the FDA. He went on to say there were many to select from. I UNDERSTOOD and INFERRED him to maaaaaaaybe sound like there could be some interest in Brilacidin if compared to a single dose competitor. It sounded like we should know once the FDA gets back with them.
That excites me!
I asked have all of the aruda shares been transferred? I understood Leo to say yes.
I am not here to quarrel with others over which forms have or have not been filed, dont shoot the messenger here.
I asked Leo about moving us off the Pinks and back to where we were? He replied that he didnt want people to think he had given up on the NASDAQ uplist and didnt want to send the wrong message. I replied I appreciated his answer very much and I respectfully disagreed and that I didnt get that message. Then quickly followed up with a statement of please take it under consideration, which I saw him shake his head to yes as I recall.
Other investors asked about MAKO. Leo said the authorities are on the case, federal and state are both aware.
We were given a full tour of the lab and offices. Real work is being done there. I saw the fax machine with received documents.
My feelings are all options remain on the table. Could they wait for the BP3 trial to conclude before a deal, sale, collaboration, partner....yes. However I didnt get the feeling that any option is off the table. I think it was made clear that the best deal comes after the trial.

I foresee the next runs will be on the anticipation of the announcement of the start of Brilacidin Phase 3 trial ABBSSI, and the top line report on PRURISOL Phase 2 results April-May.
I asked Leo What was one or two things as a lesson learned in 2015?
He responded in summary to remain quiet concerning uplist.
Brilacidin for Ulcerative Proctitis looks to be a direction the company is headed as well.
