If he walked out without a confidentiality clause in his employment or severeness agreements (which would be unbelievable)...then he is free to comment as he wishes.

In that event...his exposure would be only to the truthfulness of his statements (then and now)...which would be of great concern to SH. Would management want to air its blemished out in a suit against a former exec?

IMHO management is between a rock and hard place over M.K. commentary. SP is only incidental effect of his statement...Longs or Shorts manipulating SP up or down does not eliminate the fundamental concerns brought up in M.K.'s statements.
