Absolutely! Those scratching their heads as to "why" this is happening really shouldn't be!!
A lot of Us have been posting to SELL on the rallies the last couple days...ESPECIALLY yesterday when TVIX printed $9s and it was a GIFT! Now we sit and wait for the $5s (again) as the CBs (and CPs) do everything in their might to juice the "markets" into the much anticipated "rate hike"! Most people seem to forget that the "markets" don't automatically SELL OFF when the Fed (initially) raises rates- there's always a lag effect (at least several months)! In the meantime this looks very familiar to 2000 when the Fed started raising rates after the Y2K "Effect" never materialized and by 2001 we were in....a RECESSION! Same thing is happening now- a Recession in late 2016/ early 2017 but in the meantime the markets will "churn" near the TOP until it becomes too obvious to ignore! The "rallies" near the Top will be ferocious so you need to trade (short side) very nimble and don't get in the way of the CPs and their CBs!!
