Gold's pricing mechanism is broken and until the "fix" is in across the pond gold in $USD terms probably isn't gonna do much imo. Once the bait and switch is complete and the majority of the gold bullion is held under "rightful ownership" then I believe we will see it's true price discovery

Americans play yesterday's game I.e. $USD as their equity disappears.
