I would much prefer to see the market get some intellegence and realize that oil and solar have no relationship to each other. Why it is that investors continue to equate oil with elecricity just baffles me? Less than 5% of the electricity is produced by oil. The next big producer is coal and the next is nuclear. The vast majority of electricity is produced by natural gas, and that one is growing daily.

Although a large percentage of oil goes to produce fuels, an even larger percentage goes to producing many many consumer products. Oil is not going away it is just going to have less and less impact on enviormental issues, however it still has very little to do with the production of electricity!
