Quick explanation on that comment.

The looks (both IAs and the final) are still event driven. But they obviously had a secondary restriction that they would wait for 90% enrollment if the event trigger came early.

Though I have never heard of exactly this, having a restriction that the trial is enrolled prior to any early looks / unblinding is not uncommon. This seams like a slight variant of that.
