That does not contradict the point I was trying to make, which was that AMD is responsible for growing their own market, because right now, a 64-bit consumer market does not exist. They must convince customers that they need to upgrade to 64-bit, for whatever reason their marketing can come up with. At any rate, saying that AMD is "alone in the 64-bit market for the next 3-4 years" (in other words, implying that the market is theirs alone for the taking) is silly, because unless they create that market, there's nothing to gain. And I don't think Intel will hand over their market share easily. Expect more marketing messages on Hyperthreading and whatever PNI ends up being called.
