I think wmeshel can confirm this for us since he got two of those.
The one sold by whizboard uses samsung batteries of full size which does not heat up the way cheap batteries do and explode.

Thats why it is better to buy it from a reliable vendor who also covers with a warranty.

In electronics even cell phones explode, ear heads or headphones have exploded, you can google it and you will find some such cases.
There is always a risk.
That risk is minimized when you go for high quality brand.
