Interesting letter from the FDA.

At the end of the day it should be up to an individual woman and her doctor to decide whether to take a drug with this benefit and side effect profile. An individual is not a group, and so it is likely there are at least some that have not much in the way of side effects and are considerably bothered by this condition. FGr any such individuals the risk/benefit is way more than for the group as a whole.

I really wonder why they studied this drug in men at all. Was it originally developed for some other indication?
