No matter what Bob said in the interview, things happen at their own pace. Bob said the Gray family wanted to restructure the pay back to make it more tax friendly to them. Bob said the lawyers and appropriate people were on it, and that it should be handled next week, which, of course, is this week. He can't know, with any degree of certainty, that those things will happen at a specific time. He was giving his best guess time expected time frame.

I don't think that the deal is done, as in money in hand, line of credit in place. Actual close would be the time for that stuff to happen. I believe Corr also said Lynch is extremely thorough.
