The news releases earlier announcing the new figures increasing the cost of levee reconstruction from 3 to 9 billion dollars was something I had expected. More increases will most likely be announced later. Not good for tax payers but good for Pebbles.

One article had a picture of a bulldozer pushing topsoil and stated that clay was needed to rebuild levees it acceptable levels. In an earlier Pebbles release they mentioned that they had to dig through a lot of clay to get to sand and gravel reserves. Looks like the perfect storm for pebbles shareholders.

It is going to be interesting when financials are released.
