As a former employee
by jreynoldsweb • 6 minutes ago

I worked for Eventure for about 6 months and it is by far the worst ran organization I have ever been part of. I was hired in 2014, 2 years after the company had started and sadly in two years they still had not created a product. Immediately, I became an outcast because I dared to question why. Why have we not developed a product yet. Why do you no know who your competition is. Why if you are trying to change local events are you trying to build a greeting card company.

As a culture, the company is filled with people who don't have the skills to do their jobs. Gannon (CEO/Founder) routinely would talk about his ability to find diamonds in the rough but then beat them down verbally about their inability to do their job and threats that if your questioned him, you were gone.

I got cut from the team because I dared to question him and others. Because my job was to hold people accountable but everyone complained that me asking them to do their job was too much to ask. So somehow I was the outcast.

You see, the reality is this. Eventure never wanted to create a product. Rather they were happy with their racket of huge salaries for the C-Level and profiting from rise in their stock. The made millions initially off their stock rise ($2.84 when I left).

And here we are, 4.5 years after the company launched and still no product? They think that launching a gift cared service around the holidays is great idea. You know what, you missed your window Gannon. To take advantage you should have launched over a month ago. Not only that, I am 100% sure they will miss their launch window, again. And what they finally launch in February, if anything will be a wonky pile of crap just like their current app.

This company is toxic. Their founder is an incredible talker, he is also the worst CEO I have ever seen. I have two bets placed. One is a short and one is tiny investment. Fail and I will be joyful, if they manage to get back to $.10, I am a rich man. Less

Sentiment: Strong Sell
