Every year at this time I look forward stocks that have been clobbered and have been hit or getting hit with tax loss selling. I prefer to not have any of these weak stocks already, but if I do, buying at lower prices for a nice pop in January has happened more often than noy.

Of course it works only if the company has the potential of announcing contracts and sales numbers.
