FDA approves generic Gleevec from first-filer, Sun Pharma:

By prior settlement with NVS (#msg-102001999), Sun can launch its generic on 2/1/16 (approximately 7 months prior to the expiration of the Gleevec crystalline patent that was the subject of prior litigation).

Gleevec had annualized US sales of $2.7B during 3Q15 (https://www.novartis.com/sites/www.novartis.com/files/2015-10-interim-financial-report-en.pdf ).
