The above link will get you to ACCURATE short interest data which is reported twice per month. The regsho data is the same as the daily OTC report which is way overstated because it is based upon the TIMING of when the SELL volume is entered into the system. Every trade has a sell and a buy...if the sell is entered first, it is counted as a "short" sale and is not corrected for the buy side of the trade. The above Equity Short Interest data makes that correction. Just enter the symbol in the ISSUE block and choose the date...it should be updated any day now.

Do you really believe that 98% of yesterday's volume were short sales???
