Do you think Nate's decision to go the toxic financing route was out of desperation or a stupid mistake?

The reason I ask is why couldn't he get other legitimate means of financing if the product is as promising as some people on this board including myself believe.

I'm becoming more and more convinced that the retailers are not interested in this product whether it's because it needs to be refrigerated or it's too expensive or just a novelty item or other issues I'm not aware of.
