THE FIGHT NETWORK PRESENTS “RUMBLE AT THE RACE”
TORONTO, CA (July 5th, 2006) – The Fight Network, North America’s first and only all combatant sports and entertainment channel proudly present “Rumble At The Race”. The festivities will be taking place throughout the 2006 Molson Grand Prix of Toronto.
Events kick off on Thursday July 6th at 7:00 pm at the corner of Adelaide St. and John St. as Fight Network will be on hand as part of the Molson Street Party until 11:00 pm. Admission is FREE so come on by and check out some Mixed Martial Arts demo action experience some Muay Thai (kickboxing) bouts up close. Best of all, there will be a celebrity fight guest stopping by at 8:00 pm to sign autographs and say hi to the fans…let’s just say he is a “Natural” in the ring himself (Randy Couture two-time UFC Champion and UFC Hall of Famer)
Then the action moves over to the Exhibition Grounds as The Fight Network presents “Rumble At The Race” in Thunder Alley, part of the Molson Grand Prix of Toronto weekend events.

Friday July 7th starting at 10:00 am the action begins with LIVE Muay Thai bouts Mixed Martial Arts demos, Sumo Suit Contest, Bikini Babe Wrestling and Randy “The Natural” Couture the only man to hold two UFC titles from two different weigh classes will be on-hand from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm to sign autographs for the fans. Come on by and say hi to this legendary Mixed Martial Arts star.
Saturday July 8th is going to be a “Slamming Day” as Fight Network keeps the action going in the ring and out starting at 10:00 am on the grounds in Thunder Alley. At 11:00 am we welcome the winners of the Toronto Sun “Sumo and Win” contest who will get in the ring and “Get it On” to win a lunch with pro wrestling great Bret “Hitman” Hart. He will also be on hand to sign autographs from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm for the fans.
Muay Thai matches; Mixed Martial Arts demos and Bikini Babes Wrestling will also be happening all day long and topping off Saturday festivities Fight Network welcomes high flying TNA Wrestling Star “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles to Thunder Alley from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm for an autograph signing session with the fans.
Sunday July 9th is Race Day… but Fight Network keep the action going in Thunder Alley with more Muay Thai and Mixed Martial Arts bouts starting at 9:00 am sharp. Gary “Big Daddy” Goodridge from K-1 will be dropping by to meet the fans starting at 10:00 am and will then be joined by fellow Canadian great Bret “Hitman” Hart until 11:00 am.
