This could be true and sounds logical. Right now used 777's are going for 10 million. If the did this they wouldn't be flying much cargo though. The passenger section would be empty and N706BL can carry only a certain amount of containers. Even if it's profitable if wouldn't be by much.

Military contracts? (the US may be going into Syria)
That's some easy money. Enough for buy a couple 777's for passenger service.
