Who is management? Oh, nevermind...found it on their old app. There are no management reviews that I am aware of on the new app.
Yes, for a startup company, functionality can make a HUGE difference for acquiring new users. It's entirely possible the first version was thrown out there on a whim just to see what kind of response they would get with it and they decided to review it to sway unsuspecting users into trying it (a lot of companies do this...it's dumb but they do...just look a business page up on Facebook and read the reviews).
They dumped that app over a year ago...which tells me they decided to start over fresh. They have since also made big changes in management bringing Harvey in as CEO.
Is it possible they will continue right where they left off back then and go absolutely nowhere? Yes.
Is it also possible they will take things in a completely different direction? Yes.
If the former, I lose my investment. I am prepared for that. I won't be happy, but I knew it was a huge possibility when I bought into this company.
If the latter, my future as I know it will change for the better. I like going to the casino. I always lose. At least when I gamble this way, it's a well-thought out gamble. I may still lose, but that loss won't be dictated in a split second with the pull of a handle...or I guess nowadays, push of a button.
I'm not spending my retirement money on this company...just some spare money I could afford to lose. Anyone who wagered their entire retirement on a penny stock probably should rethink their investment strategy. So now I'm going to sit here and ride for a while and see if this company turns around. Sure, I could have waited and bought in when it got back up higher (if it ever does), but I'm not looking to make 200% gains over 5 years. I'm looking for 1000%+. That requires investing in sinking companies everybody has lost faith in with hopes they suddenly get their shit together.
