You THINK the FAA has already spoken. But you have not taken accountant of the fact that the FAA posted a Advisory Circular 43-208 on October 8th, 2015, which clearly indicates that they were investigating the problems with the slides in the aviation industry. That meant the FAA had said a lot more than they already spoken.

Yes, I know about the SDR. It is not an indication that they failed the test. It is what you want to believe. The AC 43-208 already dis-proven that theory of yours. What that proves is that the FAA realized that they gave approval to the slide manufacturers to supply slides that gives a 37% failure rate which is why they took the time to revise the AC to remove the approval status on emergency slides.
