If you use the Wave Theory you will invest in Market Index equities not individual stocks. This is not for me. Suggest you get a copy of "A Random Walk Down Wall Street" by Burton G. Malkiel. Malkiel cuts through the crap and explains Technical vs Fundamental analysis very well and in plain English.
