I caught it on a volume scanner. Huge volume spike and L2 going nuts on a basically dead ticker. Threw a few hundred at it. 30 minutes later I sold because I had a nice profit and couldn't watch it. Checked in that night and it was $1 or $2 and the news had come out about the shell being purchased about 30 minutes after I sold. LOL. The volume spike I came to realize could only have been because news leaked from an insider.
I quit playing pennies a while back as I came to realize that at least 99% of them are scams and subject to being halted or suspended at any time. Play big boards now and watch and bash the more obvious otc scams.
