I think I like you. You seem to be a discerning individual. Do you think we might be underestimating the pressure he's under. I, myself, have been heard to say that he doesn't deserve our sympathy because it was he who decided to make a Public Startup. And in doing so, took on a greater responsibility than merely risking his and his cohorts investments.
But maybe I was wrong. I have been in positions where I was overwhelmed. Could it be that no one could do any better in this situation? Does he deserve the benefit of a doubt? I don't think anyone really believes he set-out to scam investors. Most Subbie IPOs are frauds from beginning to end. From what I read, even from his toughest detractors, Benny isn't accused of that.
Answer me one question: Who is more heartless? A man doing what Benny is doing (seeking investors) or someone who makes a play with no intention of investing in Benny's dream at all, but merely plans to scalp the stock if he gets the chance?
