They also have more plane, newer fleet for which much of the debt was incurred, more routes, more revenue..etc. That is why they are the largest airline in the World. Of course they are going to have more debt.
McDonalds has more debt than Burger King BECAUSE they are bigger, but that does not make Burger King more valuable when the cost of their meat, bread, soda and condiments is the same!
