Here's the response back from McDonald's about their QR Code scanning on their App to pay at the Register..

Comment: What Co does McDonald's QR Codes & how does this work???...I'm seeing QR Codes everywhere & on many of your's & other Co's products..

Thank you for taking the time to contact McDonald's. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you encountered when using the Mobile app. We appreciate this opportunity to respond to your concerns.

1. Locate your frequency card in the "My Offers" portion of the Mobile App- always in the upper left position.

 

2. At the bottom of your screen you will see "Use at restaurant".

 

3. Press on the button and that will bring up a screen with a barcode. You will have the cashier scan the barcode or say the code at the bottom of the barcode so they can enter it in manually.

 

4. Press the "Done" bottom after barcode is scanned.


For additional information or assistance with a problem when using the app, please call 1-877-334-4332 during our regular business hours and reference Case #12539159. We are available to take your call seven days a week from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. CST.

Which I understand they don't want to help the competition Which I'm not,but they don't know that...
