Yes, that would be a game changer for sure. BUT, even if that worst case scenario came true, there's still a market for regular silk. And all KBLB would have to do is be the highest quality silk to dominate that market.

Even if the "goo" silk dominated all technical textiles, the man made fibers have never come close to the softness or "silkiness" of silk from the silkworm.

As I understand it, the man made "goo" silk is not soft at all. I think someone said they'd touched it and it was rough and more like a canvas.
KBLB silk is allegedly softer and silkier than regular silk.

So that would leave KBLB with the current silk market and ballistic underwear. That alone would put us in the black.

Obviously the worst case is KBLB going broke before they market anything. I'm just saying that IF they make it to market, then just selling better quality silk could translate into sales in the billions of dollars.
