Actually JetPilot, you just completely nailed it. For those anxious to read the Cliff Notes, here's really all you have to know:

When companies or their minions blame their own lack of performance on evil "naked shorting", this is the alarm bell that should alert you to sell and run away as fast as possible.

99 out of 100 times this excuse pops up, the stock is already (or going to) tank(ed).

Of course, investing in a company with a well known, defrocked, publicly-sanctioned, fraudster, thief like Leslie Price priming the pumps is obviously another "Investing 101" No No...
