As I recall, Involve was also supposed to get a couple of board seats out of the deal. Of course Capstone hands out rights to directorship like Mardi Geas beads, perhaps not as pretty but apparently equally worthless.

Along those lines I liked your comment:

Yeah, it must be nice to sit on a board and grant yourself "sweetheart" interest rates on nicely secured loans. Hell, I'd be willing to throe in a some considerable money at 8% on a short term, secured loan, wouldn't you!

Anybody out there getting 8% on fixed income paper of any kind?
