Dilution is not always a bad thing, if it is done for a good reason like to ramp up production. Also, if there is a major buyer of the issued stock that has a solid track record of good investments, having someone on board like that can also be a plus.

I have a biotech stock that was diluted to fund advanced phase clinical trials and stock was issued mainly to one fund that has a strong track record of picking winners in biotech.

After the transaction was complete there was a significant immediate bounce is share price. Granted, this is not always the case but also, dilution is not always a bad thing, just depends on the circumstances.
