With what? Is Bates giving out back rubs? The India affiliate/investor may have a hook up, hard to say. Either way, good exposure and at least it was the 16th annual, not the first. Bates is reluctant to openly share the news, the award was from September and as I recall posters were the first to share. bates has a history of not pumping/posting the news, which, IMO, is not necessarily a bad thing.
