There are two types of investors here. One is a long term investor hoping to be in on the ground floor of something potentially successful. He hasn't invested beyond his means, so he has patience and a little bit of optimism. The other is someone who bought in based on hype, not knowing too much about the stock, and spent more than they could afford to lose.
Some, from both sides, have cut their losses and left, but some chose to stay and either stayed a little optimistic or became bitter. It's a personal choice that reveals a lot about a persons character.
That being said, everyone is waiting on the "deal" to come to fruition. If it doesn't, then the disappointment will cause most to turn.
