Promoter is such an ugly word, isn't it?
"Link me to where they said they hired promotors." They sure didn't do THAT. To the contrary:

"310 Holdings Inc. is not in any way interested in dealing with stock promoters who are seeking financial or stock compensation.
"Our capital is better used for us to acquire profitable companies than to spend valuable company capital for short-term gains in the stock price," said Mr. Bordynuik. "Do not call us. If you want to promote this stock then buy it and promote it based on its real value."

That's what he said. What he DID was more subtle (most of the time).

"NIAGARA FALLS, Ontario, Dec. 22, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- JBI, Inc. (the "Company") (OTCBB: JBII) is pleased to announce that December, 2009, has been a month of intense activity and very positive productive progress. The Company and Rick Heddle have agreed to a Joint Venture whereby Heddle Marine Service, Inc. will retrofit ships with P2O processors."
Here's your choice: 1)The current CEO was gullible enough to be duped into believing that he could get stuff to work on boats that the company can't even get to work on land 6 YEARS LATER or 2)he was somehow compensated for his entry into and the use of his name in an agreement which took the company 5 years to file and which includes several terms which are completely illegible. The second choice would make him a promoter by definition.

Here's an easy one:
"MINNEAPOLIS, MN and NIAGARA FALLS, NY--(Marketwired - Feb 26, 2014) - The Brewer Group, Inc. ("TBG"), a global investment advisory firm, announced a new strategic partnership with JBI, Inc. (the "Company" or "JBI") (OTCQB: JBII), a clean energy company that recycles waste plastic into liquid fuels. TBG will provide tailored services to JBI in effort to enhance business development and global distribution for the Company, including providing access to numerous markets throughout the world."
I'm not saying that Ambassador Jack and company actually DID anything, but you don't think that to "enhance business development and global distribution" actually means that the Brewer Group would exercise their world renowned expertise in alternative methods of recycling and fuel production to spread the word about JBI's operational capabilities, do you? The Jack Brewer Foundation Ambassador for Peace and Sport for the U.S. Federation for Middle East Peace/United Federation for Peace and Development is paid to allow a company to suggest that it has global prospects. Other clients have been developing companies in the pharmaceutical industry...you'll see talk of purchase orders from Malawi and clients who no longer exist if you look.
Everybody knows what they really do. They're promoters.

And then there's Hans Brost. Websites, brochures, message board posts spammed daily. Think he did that for entertainment?

And I think I can find a dozen or so of the following. Don't be fooled by the "not been compensated for the tickers included in this email" stuff. I'm sure you know how that works...think compensation "laundry". Connecting these things to the original payment is almost always impossible, but how many entries in the JBI filings do you think we could find for unexplained share issuances? Probably dozens, right?

"JBII June 14th 925am email alert Price at alert $3.78. I told members to watch my price target of $4.20. The high of day was $4.20 giving members a effortless $.40 cent gain in a matter of hours. I have also successfully called bigger moves for JBII 4 other times since the price was $1.30 for those long term traders."

There's only one word for that...the ugly one.

Besides, what kind of services do you think JB was paying for with the shares he snagged back from his own kids?

Given the actual operation results of the company over the years I think the best place to look for this....
"Link me to where they said they hired promotors."

....is in the documents that originally established John Bordynuik as CEO and #1 Promoter.
