I agree.

Unfortunately, we have no idea what the holdup(s) could be.

Even if the provincial and central governments were to give the green light, further delays may follow with implementation.

I don't know how things work in VN, but if this were a western country I'd expect the silk farmers to have a say. Will only corporate farmers get the mutant worms? All of them? Some of them?

Will company A try to block the project because company B stands to profit the most? We have no clue.

My hope is that the groundwork that was laid with the implementation of the gm crops would help expedite the gm insect plan.

I would think the KBLB implementation would happen faster for three reasons:

1. Legal framework for crops already exists.

2. They're going to wear the silk, not eat it.

3. KBLB IS NOT the manufacturer of agent orange.

Also, do we really know the ball is in VN's court right now? How do we know VN isn't waiting for a redraft from KBLB that's written in clearer language. Maybe the draft was ambiguous and has multiple interpretations that they need clarified. Sound familiar? We've all read KBLB's PRs and we are native English speakers. We've debated Kim's language ad nauseam on this message board alone.

We just don't know- because we are told nothing.
