Many professional videos have been shot on iPhones. It's not inconceivable then that a production would use a GoPro if they have the ability to shoot in 4k or 8k. Not releasing with 4k or 8k would be a failure.

People don't invite others over to watch Youtube videos. That's the point of the Internet. Your complaint seems invalid as it relates to GoPro.

I trust GoPro knows their market rather well. At least better than you.
