I noticed that too. You know what else is funny - he's zapping basalt with the Niton. Basalt like that is about the most worthless non-ore-bearing rock you could imagine. Yeah, companies often use stock photos with no real explanation that it is a stock photo. Mostly non-reporting pinksheets, but occasionally you'll find a reporting company like LBSR using stock photos.

It's lazy. Why not use a photo of your actual tech in the actual field surveying an actual outcrop on the actual claim. Or would that require an NDA?

P.S.: What in the world kind of hammer is that guy holding??? It is a specialty hammer of some kind, but can you imagine beating on that outcrop with that thing?

Sorry, stuff like this is not important in the big picture, but it sure is amusing. To me anyway.
