Why would MMs not have bought back their 17.6 mil naked shorted shares as soon as possible after the PR about successful Phase 3 trial, knowing that the PPS would surely rise and they would have to pay a much higher PPS later? UNLESS they thought (knew for sure?) that they would be able to get away with *never* buying them back! Is it possible they could avoid re-paying those naked shorted shares, without any penalty? Or maybe the penalty (if any) is less than the cost of buying back those 17.6 mil naked shorted shares?
