Except they DO profit from EG operations and for profit status coming BEFORE 2018. You need to read the bill more carefully. The language in it says licensing MUST happen BEFORE 2018. TRTC is grandfathered in to file for FOR PROFIT licensure beginning Jan 01 2016. The bill specifically states TRTC has priority for licensure at that time when the bill goes into effect. You can argue it all you want but the language in the bill is as plain as day.
